Locally (and ethically) in Denver of course! Check out the Denver seamstresses who sew our clothes on our Production page.

No, we don’t. Because we make everything from deadstock fabric, once we run out of a specific item in  a specific fabric, it is gone forever. That fabric won’t be made again.

It is expensive for our business to use these payment methods and right now since we are a start up it doesn’t make sense for us financially. Hopefully one day!

Since we use deadstock fabric, no two fabrics are alike. This means some of our stuff will be a little more snug than others. You just gotta, have to, need to read the sizing chart and info that comes with each garment. If you are lost, just email us and we shall help you! heybabe@pastlifethecollective.com

Well thanks for diggin' what we do!

1) We have an affiliate program with some pretty sweet perks beyond earning commission.

And 2) you can always shoot us an email of what your dreams are and we will get back to you ASAP. We are looking for people who feel as passionate as us! heybabe@pastlifethecollective.com

We are all about intersectional environmentalism. Leah Thomas, or @greengirlleah on Instagram, defines it as :

“This is an inclusive version of environmentalism that advocates for both the protection of people and the planet. It identifies the ways in which injustices happening to marginalized communities and the earth are interconnected. It brings injustices done to the most vulnerable communities, and the earth, to the forefront and does not minimize or silence social inequality. Intersectional Environmentalism advocates for justice for people + the planet.”

So, as a brand we focus heavily on ethical production. This means the people who are making the clothes are treated with respect, working normal hour work weeks, paid above fair wages and their health, safety and happiness is the most important thing to us. We recognize we are nothing without them. Second, we are always looking to do LONG-TERM collaborations with BIPOC, specifically in the Denver / Boulder community where we are located. If you are someone who identifies as BIPOC and you want to work for a company like us, please email us. Systemic racism isn’t going to be eradicated overnight, and we are trying to continue the conversation, continue listening, and trying to be better allies day after day.

We mail in compostable mailers! They might not be as pretty as other brands, but they make mama earth smile ;)

Yes! We do our best to repurpose items (all of our hangers for the clothing are from friends and family) and we do our best to minimize waste. We also use all eco-friendly office supplies etc. It is our dream one day to have a solar powered office space that is zero waste. Gotta manifest that one though!
